| Sunday, July 4th, 2010 - Meet at 1:50 pm • Ceremony will start promptly at 2 pm
Ocean Lakes Family Campground is holding our inaugural “Salute To The Troops” Ceremony and want YOU to be apart of it! We are asking everyone to wear Red, White and Blue to the beachfront on July 4th to Salute our Troops!
We will video record the ceremony and C-17 flyover so our men and women overseas can view it anytime after 4 PM - see video.
The ceremony will be less than 30 minutes, will include a C-17 fly-over, AND (pending approval of air space) will be filmed from the air as well in Huffman Helicopters.
We ask all of our guests on the beach to wave at the C-17 AND the HELICOPTER as it goes by at approximately 2:03 PM.
Our event dovetails with the Salute from the Shore. Video footage of our Ceremony on the Deck, and the copter shots of guests on our beachfront, as well as, footage from the South Carolina shore, will be edited together and sent to our Troops over seas! Once that video editing is complete, we will provide links to the completed video!

Veterans, please stop by the Main Office, Recreation Building, Golf Car Building, Game Center, Sandy Mart or Ocean Lakes Properties and pick up a “Veteran sticker” to wear on Sunday.
Veteran Stickers will be available Saturday afternoon.
